Making an appointment through this online appointment booking interface offers you a 10% discount compared to making an ordinary appointment by calling our secretariat (not applicable in case of emergency appointment).

In case ofemergency, i.e. for appointments within1 hour to 48 hours outside opening hours, weekends and holidays, our usual rates are increased by 25%.

• Select the degree of urgency of your situation under“Priority“.
• Select the type of appointment you would like (20 minute conference call, 40 minute video conference, one hour conference at our office) under“Service“.
• Choose the lawyer or expert you wish to consult under the heading“Expert“.
• Then choose the date and time that suits you best.
• You enter your details and proceed to the payment of the chosen service.
• You will receive a link on your e-mail address which will take you to a secure form where you can enter your contact details, indicate any opposing parties, specify the details of your situation and, if necessary, upload a short document.
• We immediately check for possible conflicts of interest and confirm the appointment. In case of conflict of interest you will receive a cancellation email and the amount of the paid service will be immediately refunded. 

In case ofemergency, it is possible to call upon our services. An on-call worker will then be in charge of answering you.

You can use the emergency appointment system by selecting the “emergency” option.

Making an emergency appointment allows you to meet with a lawyer and get initial advice from a specialist within 48 hours. This also applies outside the usual opening hours of law firms, as well as at weekends and on public holidays.

Please note that the price of emergency services is 25% higher than the usual rates charged by the lawyers and experts of Penalex Avocats SA.

• Conference call : from CHF 120.00, a 20-minute conference call with one of our lawyers on the first available date – within 48 hours and as a rule within 5 days – only on weekdays, from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and from 2:00 p.m. to 5:45 p.m.

• Videoconference: from CHF 240.00, a 40-minute videoconference with one of our lawyers on the first available date – within 48 hours and as a rule within 5 days – only on weekdays from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm and from 2:00 pm to 5:45 pm.

• Appointment at the Study From CHF 360, a 60-minute appointment with one of our lawyers at our Vevey office on the first available date – within 48 hours and as a rule within 5 days – only on weekdays from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm and from 2:00 pm to 5:45 pm.

The price of these initial fixed-price services provided by Penalex Avocats SA varies depending on whether you are dealing with a lawyer at the Bar or with a lawyer at the Bar with the FSA specialization in criminal law.

Once the first intervention is over and if you wish the lawyer who intervened to continue to defend your interests for the rest of the procedure, you will discuss his fees with him and set the hourly rate freely according to the usual criteria.

EMERGENCY APPOINTMENTS AND RESERVATIONS

• Telephone conference : from CHF 200.00, a 20-minute telephone conference with the lawyer of your choice within 1 hour to 48 hours, even outside normal business hours (8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. / 2:00 p.m. – 5:45 p.m.), including weekends and holidays.

• Videoconference : from CHF 350.00, a 40-minute videoconference with the lawyer of your choice within a period of 1 hour to 48 hours, even outside normal business hours (8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. / 2:00 p.m. to 5:45 p.m.), including weekends and public holidays.

• Appointment at the StudyFrom CHF 500.00, a 1-hour appointment at our Vevey office with the lawyer of your choice within a period of 1 hour to 48 hours, even outside normal business hours (8:00 am – 12:00 pm / 2:00 pm – 5:45 pm), including weekends and holidays.

The price of these first emergency services of the lawyers and experts of Penalex Avocats SA is increased compared to the usual hourly rate to take into account the urgency of their intervention. It also depends on whether you are dealing with a lawyer at the Bar or a lawyer at the Bar with the FSA specialization in criminal law.

Once the emergency intervention is over and if you wish the lawyer who intervened in the emergency to continue to defend your interests for the rest of the procedure, you will discuss his fees with him and set the hourly rate freely according to the usual criteria.

To determine the hourly rate, we must take into consideration the urgency, the complexity of the situation, the value of the dispute or the risks involved as well as your financial situation. The range is therefore from an hourly rate of CHF 180 for legal assistance situations to CHF 550 for the most complex or urgent cases handled by an FSA specialist.
